Celebrating the life and legacy of Broadway's songwriting titan Stephen Sondheim, the Rose Center Theater is excited to present his beloved and iconic musical Into the Woods this February and March 2022.

James Lapine (book) and Stephen Sondheim (music & lyrics) take everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant piece...a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching. 

Follow a story of a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow could give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on an epic journey to break it. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results. 

One of Stephen Sondheim's most popular works, Into the Woods is a musically sophisticated and fantastical show perfect for the entire family.

**Surf City Singer Sundays: At no additional charge, all Sunday performances will feature a Sondheim Celebration Pre-Show at 1:30 PM compliments of the Huntington Beach Academy for the performing Arts' Surf City Singers.

• This event will be taking place indoors, at the Rose Center. The address of the venue is 14140 All American Way, Westminster Ca, 92683. Please check in at the front of the building. 
• Please follow all verbal and posted instructions during your visit. ​
• To limit physical contact, the Box Office will remain closed. No in-person transactions will be available at the venue. Please present the ticket or email confirmation you received as proof of your reservation. For all ticket related inquiries, please contact RoseCTBoxOffice@gmail.com.
• Once you have found your seats, unless exiting the venue, we ask that you please stay in your seating area.
• If you are feeling unwell, have a fever, or any other cold or flu like symptom, we ask that you please not come to the theater.
